Bryan Hall has extensive experience in UX / UI design, interactive media, marketing, and fundraising. Bryan designed the product, assembled the team, raised the money, created the marketing materials and videos, forged the partnerships, and has lead the company through successful Alpha & Beta launches on major publications. Prior to his work with The World Table, Bryan was a developer for Quicken (Intuit), CEO of Brandfire, a marketing and branding agency, and founder of Living Biography, a film company specializing in political documentaries. Bryan or his work have been featured on CNN, BBC, US News and World Reports, NPR, New York Sun, and C-SPAN’s Meet the Nation, among others. He is the consummate visionary, able to articulate the big picture in simple terms and bring people together around it.

Leo Brunnick

Leo founded Patheos (patheos.com), and grew it to the largest online publication in the world of its kind (35,000,000 monthly page-views with 550 active bloggers) before selling it to Beliefnet.com in 2016.

Leo uniquely understands the dynamics of building an interactive community of readers in complicated topical areas and then generating sustainable revenue models around them. He is an expert on publishers’ need to have a strong brand while driving all the crucial metrics. His success as both a publisher and an entrepreneur together places him at the forefront of the intersection between technology, media, and “conversations online.”

Prior to building Patheos and founding The World Table, Leo graduated from Harvard, served as Marine Corp. Infantry Officer in combat, served as a Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting, and was Sr. VP of Products and Marketing at Vignette for 9 years.

Jack Donaldson
Chief Operations Officer

Jack is fluent in both the creative and administrative aspects of product development and management and has directed operations at The World Table since its inception. Before joining the World Table team, Jack founded Peak Media & Consulting, managing media projects for clients in Europe, Canada and throughout the US. He has co-directed and produced two award-winning feature-length documentary films featured on CNN, Fox, New York Post, BBC, and CSPAN. He has served on the board for the non-profit Trekking for Kids since 2006. Jack studied botany and socio-cultural anthropology (BS & MS – BYU) and evolutionary ecology (PhD – UW – Madison). He lives in at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains with his wife and three kids. Jack spends his free time with family (soccer!) and chasing adventures as a skier, biker, runner, flyfisher and naturalist.

Sarah Wiley
Chief Technology Officer

Sarah joined the World Table engineering team after an long tenure (16+ years – an industry anomaly!) working at Intuit. There she worked on everything from desktop software, to web services, to big data, dabbling in every language from C to JSP – focusing primarily on Java development. She is passionate about understanding the customer needs, keeping the solutions simple yet powerful, and continually learning new things. Sarah is excited to contribute to a new open reputation platform at The World Table and hopes to help elevate the quality of online relationships and communications in the process.

Sarah received her BS in Computer Science from BYU in 1997 and worked for Corel (owner of WordPerfect) for some time as well. Sarah is committed to perfecting the ever-elusive work-life balance and is an advocate for women in technology.

Outside of engineering and family, Sarah is also actively involved in promoting cultural and economic vitality in her hometown of Provo, UT. She founded and organizes the Rooftop Concert Series that draws more than 3000 people to Downtown Provo every month and has been a huge boon to businesses, musicians, and residents alike, and helps make it a great place to live.

Xander Folmer
Communications

Xander Folmer is an accomplished writer (columnist at Patheos.com) and blogger who came to The World Table by excessive and productive use of our flagship product. After months of collaborative discussions it was clear that we could use his services on a more permanent basis. Xander handles our social media works, outreach to potential bloggers, and product design improvements. Xander writes about life as a modern Pagan who is married to a Rabbi’s daughter.

Cathie Brunnick is a founder and serves as Chief Operating Officer at Patheos.com. Along with her husband and co-founder, Leo Brunnick, she has helped to build Patheos into the largest Religion and Spirituality site on the web, and the recognized brand leader in its space. Prior to Patheos.com, Cathie held a series of Sales Leadership roles at cutting edge technology companies: Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development at Mersive Technologies, Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances at Vignette Corporation, Vice President of Sales and Alliances at TeleTech, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at USA.NET, Senior-level positions at Pivotal Corporation and J.D. Edwards and Company. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of the Pacific.

Bob Williams

Currently the Publisher of The Daily Herald of Lee Enterprises Inc., Williams has served as publisher in Carbondale since 2010. Previously, he had been publisher of the Suburban Journals of Greater St. Louis since 2007. He also previously led Lee’s companywide sales initiatives as corporate director of sales and development, after serving as advertising manager of the Missoulian in Missoula, Montana.

Before joining Lee in 1998, he worked for Gannett Co., Inc., newspapers for 10 years, as retail advertising manager of the Great Falls Tribune in Montana, advertising director of the Coloradoan in Fort Collins, and advertising director of the Asheville Citizen-Times in North Carolina. His experience includes five years as an account manager DDB Needham Worldwide advertising agency. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in advertising. He and his wife, Jill, have three sons and a daughter.

Williams has been active in many civic and industry organizations. His civic and charitable involvement includes president and board member of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, member of the Southern Illinois University President’s Business Council and member of several regional help committees for abused women and underprivileged children.

Lincoln Cannon
Board Member

Lincoln Cannon is a veteran technologist. He has two decades of professional experience in information technology, including leadership roles in software engineering and marketing technology at Ancestry.com, Merit Medical, and Symantec; and consulting roles in emerging technology ventures. Lincoln holds degrees in business administration and philosophy from Brigham Young University.
